What O.C.E Grand Lodge is
O.C.E Grand Lodge is a membership organisation founded on brotherhood, sisterhood, integrity, service and excellence. Membership is a commitment to personal development, disciplined conduct and responsible participation in an organised community.
Every member belongs to a recognised lodge or chapter, which is linked to a regional structure and to the national organisation. This ensures that members are known, supported and accountable, and that leadership can respond to their needs.
Advancement within O.C.E is earned. Members learn, demonstrate understanding, meet the requirements set by authorised leadership, and are then reviewed for progression.
An organised institution
O.C.E operates through a defined national, regional, lodge and community structure with recorded membership and accountable leadership.
A learning organisation
Members progress through briefings, understanding and assessment before advancement is considered by leadership.
A service organisation
Members contribute to their communities through organised service, mentorship and development activities.
An independent identity
O.C.E Grand Lodge is its own organisation with its own philosophy, emblem and traditions.

Our independence
O.C.E Grand Lodge is an independent organisation. It is not Freemasonry, it is not a branch of any other fraternal body, and it does not use the emblems or branding of any other organisation. Concepts such as leadership, brotherhood, sisterhood, discipline and the Compass are presented as O.C.E's own philosophy and identity.
O.C.E Grand Lodge does not claim government endorsement or official state status, and makes no promise of wealth, employment, business success or political influence.
